Alone with Friends, an indie-ish band from Southern California, is actually just one guy (Mason Mejia) that hires his friends to help him make music. Alone with Friends takes sonic elements from indie, R&B, emo, and a bunch of other stuff, and attempts to distill it down into a unique sound that will make you think twice before tapping the “skip” button. Paired alongside this magnificent musical menagerie are thought-provoking, memory-evoking, soul-stoking lyrics that reflect on love, meaning, God, and feelings.

Renowned for very little (because they are just getting started), Alone with Friends hopes to create music that makes the listener think deeply about their life, without jeopardizing the groove.
